A visitor can experience a variety of village activities in Vaikom. Some of the activities going around here are :

  Traditional Kerala lunch served in a Banana leaf. Consists of rice, a variety of curries, pappad and followed by Payasam (Sweet Dessert).

  Village Activities

  Visiting the interiors of the village and understanding the basic mode of livelihood the is still prevalent in its primitive form like coir making, straw mat weaving coconut processing, toddy tapping, thatched roof mat weaving, natural way of pounding and grinding of rice, plucking and dehusking coconut, visit the spice and herbal garden.
